My Experience on Sleep Paralysis
It was a a quiet night when I woke up. I looked at the clock, it was exactly 3:00 AM. All of a sudden, I wasn't able to move my body. I'm trying to move one of my fingers, but I couldn't. I tried to look around and I saw something unusual on the corner of my room. It was a shadow figure of a man standing and I could only see his eyes staring at me. It seems like he's controlling my body. It seems like I wasn't able to move my body for almost 10 minutes, but in reality, it was just 3 minutes. I couldn't understand what I've felt that night. It was one of my worst experiences ever.
What is Sleep Paralysis?
When you woke up in the middle of your sleep, you start to experience or seeing unusual and scary things, and you weren't able to move your body, you are in sleep paralysis. When you can't move your muscles as you're waking up or dozing off, you are in sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is a temporary inability to move or speak when you're waking up or falling asleep. Although the cause of sleep paralysis is unclear, insomnia has been connected to it. It's not harmful and should pass quickly, but it can be frightening. It can affect anyone but is most common in young adults. It can affect anyone's mental health.
